Musharraf finally speaks. Vacationing in London and enjoying a good time he blames Pakistani government for the situation.
Former President Pervez Musharraf has blamed Pakistan’s current administration for the tensions in ties with India in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks, saying it should have made it clear how strong it is about fighting terrorism.
“Well, you know if you don’t fight terror and make sure everybody knows how strong you feel about it, you may have problems with other countries like America. And yes - now the situation with India,” the former military ruler said in an interview in London, where he is on a private visit.
Asked if the tension between India and Pakistan would not have occurred if the current Pakistani administration had made it clear how strong it is about fighting terrorism, Musharraf told interviewer Daphne Barak: “You said it.”
He said the situation with India had become ‘very complicated’ because of the government’s stance. “This is what terror is all about. By now - it has become a very complicated situation,” he remarked
WTH?!?!
Now you support mushy - the same guy you blamed for kargil. This flip-flopping has got to stop. I guess its right what they say about indians:
Time anay per ghadhay ko be baap bana laitay hain
Alhamduliallah. God Bless the former President, Great Pervez Musharaf, the greatest Pakistani leader since Quaid-e-Azam. He would not have bent over like the current Pakistani leadership and promised to send the head of ISI to India as Great Zardari the current President, and PM Gilani did, without asking for any proof of Pakistani involvement from India.
Re: Musharraf finally speaks - Blames Pakistani government
This coming from a guy who brought Pakistan to this point where if Manmohan get diarrhea ISI/LeT/JM can be blamed easily and world will accept it.
Current government is not doing anything different from what he was doing so any failure "now" is infact continuation of the failure from his tenure.
Simply banning an organization doesn't do squat, the members of banned organizations had to be prosecuted or sent into exile (out of Pakistan) so they don't have same influence/power. All Musharraf did was ban LeT, JM type parties without keeping a check on them and this is what Aalsi loves.

That is what the Indian's have been asking all along !!!!!!
Re: Musharraf finally speaks - Blames Pakistani government
Great timing eh.
when all the opposition parties has announced unconditional support to Zardari on the issue of India, this dude comes and start critisizing, if i see him i would suggest him to shut up, and if he cant then grow up.

But Aalsi, this will blow your cover, of pretending to be an Indian, in your attempts to glorify Musharraf.
Re: Musharraf finally speaks - Blames Pakistani government
What else can you expect from an enemy of the country, who drinks scotch with Altaf Hussain in London.
He is acting like Pakistan was doing nothing in the last 9 years, and everything just took birth and nurtured in the last 2-3 months since he resigned.
I agree with the Ex-President. Instead of shouting about evidence of Pakistan's involvement, they should have focused more on convincing India that Pak is onboard with them in this fight.

Pakistan said that already, govt even agreed to send the ISI representative. Musharraf had a chance to sort out terrorists and finish them off but he came out making deals out of every opportunity.

Captain1 bhaijan. Great Zardari, the President of Pakistan has recently admitted to India that the alleged 'freedom fighters' using Pakistani soil to launch attacks are terrorists. Great Zardari, the President of Pakistan, and PM Gilani, have now said that they will work with India to root out the evil of terrorism from Pakistan that has become hub for terrorist activities. Isn't it great that Pakistan and India will work together to get rid of terrorism from Pakistan and stop Pakistani soil from being used to terrorize people?
Re: Musharraf finally speaks - Blames Pakistani government
Aalsi are you saying that great Musharraf was trying his best to terrorize India? Tsk tsk, maybe Pakistan should ship him (in a cage) to India for interrogation then.

The guy under discussion is Musharraf, not Zardari, trying to deflect Mushy's criticism will not hide his incompetence.
Re: Musharraf finally speaks - Blames Pakistani government
If mushy was such a great cutie pie, and patriot and the best and most honest leader ever then y the heck in the world he brought in NRO for corrupt zardari?? why he had hidden meetings with ppp in dubai and y he wanted a coalition with benazir to save his presidency b4 elections when presidency spokes person came and said that 90% of deal is done with benazir in london and then choudhary shujat comes in and says oh no no only 9% is done not 90
