no body can make fun of a country , vietnam has shown it, pakistan is far far superior in every way , this is leadership civil or military who try to work smart and try to run with rabbit and hunt with hound and ending "caught red handed".they themselve show up red faced when caught ,you stay on one side right or wrong no body can dare to make fun of the country.

They used stop you and question if you wander close (within 3 KM) to Kakul academy in Abbotabad, even in 1990s. The question was valid and the answer given comparing the situation to planes being hijacked was idiotic. It was actually Musharraf making fun of Pakistan.

I agree that while he tried, his argument was a little bit of apples and oranges,
a better argument could have been that OBL was allowed to escape from tora bora, does that show complicity too?

no, because unless then everyone says that OBL escaped from tora bora because of complicity, it is still a slip or incompetence. If however at large someone says yes US let him escape then its a much bigger story than him hiding in some house in abottabad

this one is not even that. He is trying to get some form of public support so that if he returns to Pakistan (which he desperately wants to, having overstayed his welcome everywjhere else and right now has become a laughing stock) it won't be that easy to hang him. Poor guy built his drean farm house towards end of his tenure but hasn't lived there

^ It is not our fault if indian leaders, apart from the Gandhis, generally have poor public speaking skills. I mean look at your current PM Manmohan Singh ... lagta hee nahin k he went to Oxford, so unimpressive!! just my opinion
As for Musharraf, the best they can hope to do is drag him thru a protracted court case and humiliate him that way. As long as he has the backing of Pakistan Army no *mai ka laal *can send him to jail let alone hang him..

this is our misfortune we dont have handsome leaders, what can indians do if god has not created an indian leader who is a member of parliament handsome, dashing, world known economist educated at oxford , to kaam chalane ke liye manmohan ko p.m. bana diya , ab kisi london wale handsome taxi driver ko prime minister banana theek nahi lagta na , aap to padhe likhe lagte ho? by the way oxford me aap to photo dikha kar ghus gaye honge? i know pakistanis are handsome but not all are in that category where does mush stand?.:D

What about the intelligence reports prior to 9/11 about possibility of plane hijackings?? Didn't the American Government miserably fail to act?? I can understand one but how on earth can 4 different planes be hijacked IN USA???
In addition to that, American intelligence agencies are quite active inside Pakistan and it's their failure as well that Osama managed to escape alive from Afghanistan and live inside Pakistan without their knowledge??
It's ok if you hate Musharaff but it doesn't mean you have to oppose everything he says.

Do not want to digress but since you mentioned, mai ka laal is a very common expression in urdu/hindi, frequently used by angry young Amitabh (my favourite actor) in his late 70s/80s films. Are you suggesting Big B lacks class too?

you are quite wrong in this. There are very good public speakers - mostly in local languages. But what has that to do with what I said about Musharaf?

you are correct sir , you have got me .but here we are on internet forums , demand of the posters is to use refined language.what i saidin my posting earlier it went with the context of speaking skills of leaders and the and poor indian p.m.but judge swing saheb himself was using not so good skill with language and talking in mai ka lal lingo. Big b has done roles which demanded such languages in films , otherwise he is a very cultured man.
