I am not arguing that nothing should be done, but stating what I see as the short mid term situation. other extremist groups basically died down as their polarizing leaders kicked the bucket, whether you look at jiye sindh's Gm syed, or wali khan and ghaffar khan of NWFP, BLA ppl are more like MQM as they are sitting overseas. Maybe the same will happen once altaf eats one samosa too many.
but in the immediate future, i simply dont see any govt tackling MQM, whether its Musharraf or Benazir or Nawaz.
and when they do tackle MQM, it will not be the same as the previous couple of attempts because human rights groups were all over them but no one listened. who cared about Pakistan then? Now its very diff.
