No, he mocked himself by showing up on a show like that in the first place...this is akin to Gallloway doing Big Brother....And then he preceded to make a even bigger buffon out of himself when he gave his customary dictator salute to the audience when he entered as if he was amongst his lotays back home....
Yaar, why are you Indians so sarray huay over Musharraf's 'charm offensive'? :D
Does the word jealousy ring a bell? Anywayz I am ready to be bashed by some who would always undermine the achievements of their counterparts and downplay them and portray as failures. It’s only typical of most people living on either sides of the border to do that. Don’t take it seriously just like I wont for the reply that comes back from this ignorant population that sadly resides equally in both India and Pakistan. :)
yeaa, jon is a very smart guy, and probably the worst critic of bush, actually i was a little surprised, but it is a comedy show, but i guess jon decided it wasnt a platform for such an interview! I always enjoy jon stweart, but not mushi projecting himself a zoo keeper among a bunch of extremist monkeys. With every interview i am getting sick of this guy, projecting the people of pakistan as extremist, eneducated monkeys.
Musharraf speaks of moderates, tribals and the minority religious parties. He is telling it like it is. Pakistan is a not a nation of rocket scientists. It's a hodge podge of different socio-economic/political/ethnic backgrounds and that's what Musharraf is talking about.
More people hear his message, better for Pakistan.
No, better for Mushie the dictator, not Pakistan...they the americans, will still carry on with their pre-conceived notions and misperceptions that they get bombarded with by the likes of FOXnews...Jon Stewart only reaches out to a niche demographic....
