Musharaf meets Altaf in London...

Re: Musharaf meets traitor in London…

you do make for a good joker :k:

Re: Musharaf meets traitor in London...

So you support Altaf going to India and declaring that Pakistan was a mistake?

Re: Musharaf meets traitor in London…

And yet here we are 7 years later, and the country is still fighting a war with its own people on the behest of a foreign country, made a complete U turn on the Kashmir policy, and we have a “president” meeting a man who openly betrayed his country in India no less, just to gain his support for the Kursi…

This guy has sold the country so many times you would think he is running a convenience store…

Re: Musharaf meets traitor in London…

What else do you expect…

This guy uses “humor” as a defense mechanism…

Re: Musharaf meets Altaf in London...

If Mush were truly the patriot he claims to be, and truly cared for his country, he would demand an apology from this Altaf person at the very least...

But instead of this, he goes and gives him the honor of consulting him and apprising him of the situation...
Musharaf is disgusting... This is the lowest any "leader" can sink.

Re: Musharaf meets traitor in London...

Not at all, he should be given death sentence for that, but this is politics hope you got the point.

Re: Musharaf meets Altaf in London…

Unbelievable! Mush not only insulted a senior journalist of The Dawn, but in another gather he suggested to beat up journalists like him. What a waste of S#@*& he is.

Re: Musharaf meets Altaf in London…

Thats like a true dictator, Deer aye dursat aye. He should actually do that few years early.

Re: Musharaf meets traitor in London...

I can only say my dearest friend how disillusioned you are...

The only way if we have to move forward as a nation is rule of law, supremacy of justice and strengthening of institutions..

Instead of believing in personalities we should believe in our institutions....if our judicial system works properly, we will get rid of Musharraf, Altaf, Zardari, NS, Chaudries etc. because all of them being criminals will be behind the bars...

What you call a reality check is infact a disillusion....you need to study world history....countries where a real democratic system based on supremacy of institutions have progressed over the years....example of East and West Germany is infront of you...

I agree with you that our country is divided and there is a need to keep it united....but the reason of these divisions is the break up of institutions...and people believing in personalities instead of institutions....even our political parties are worse kind of dictatorial outfits being ruled by families and personalities...

My friend we have to come out of this mentality of worshipping personalities and start a struggle to establish rule of law in our country....come out of our ehtnic biases ....and advocate a system based on justice....///

God bless Pakistan....God bless our nation....with or without Pervaiz Musharraf...///

Re: Musharaf meets Altaf in London...

PP1, I'm trying to reply to your PM but seems you've disabled PM reception? Pls enable it so I can resend. Thanks.

Re: Musharaf meets traitor in London...

Yazdi, all points are valid and well made.

The only concern I have is that Pakistan is not East/West Germany. There were no political family oriented dynasties, and East/West Germany were not fighting against each other on ethnic lines (barring a few small irrelevant groups). Whereas in Pakistan, where lack of education, politics based on ethnicity prevails, and people continue to be fooled by the likes of Zarsari's, Sharif's and others, makes Pakistan the most ripe country for division.

Whether people except it or not - Pakistan under President Musharaf had some stability for the first time after a very long time. It is a shame that the terrorists are hell bent on destroying the nation and playing people against each other. Pakistan's policy has rightly changed under President Musharaf and it longer supports terrorist groups like in the past.

God Bless Pakistan.

Re: Musharaf meets traitor in London...

It's a matter of perception....you think Musharraf has brought stability to the country...while in my opinion he continues to damage the institutions beyond repair...only time will tell who is right...whether the so called stability is only a very short term illusion or it will have any implications in the long run...if he can live forever and take the nation forward after destroying all the institutions...

When he took power in 1999....he asked for three years...in return he promised to clean Pakistan from criminal politicians....who looted and divided the country....the problem started when to prolong his tenure he started to make partnerships with the same corrupt politicians....Altaf Hussain and Chaudries....and now Zardari and Nawaz Sharif....the same corrupt system he promised to rid the country....now he has become a part of the system....rather the biggest saviour of the corrupt system....NRO is the biggest proof...and the movement for rule of law is being crushed by him...so in my opinion he has become the biggest enemy of our nation...

You are right we are not East/West Germany....however we have to choose between right and wrong....the only way we can move forward is choose the right and reject the wrong....the idea of giving you example of East and West Germany was that the same country was divided and in one part they chose democracy while in the other part a tyrant rule of a dictator was implemented...you can study history yourself that after 30-40 years of staying apart West Germany where rule of law was implemented became one of the strongest nation in the world while destruction of institutions only brought misery to East Germany...if we are clever we can learn from the mistakes of others instead of experimenting our own...

If majority of the country is uneducated....atleast the educated minority can tell the majority about the significance of institutions...instead of supporting the destruction of institutions...///

Re: Musharaf meets traitor in London...

well said
100% agreed

Re: Musharaf meets traitor in London...

what u see is what u believe
i dont see any stability, pakistan is unstable like never before. I dont see al-qaida any where. All i see are bunch of men trying survive mush and bush.

many countries didnt supported america nothing happened to em
we supported em and we are the ones suffereing

poor got more poor and rich got more rich
u see stock exchange going up
u see property boom, these are just dust clouds and will settle down soon. this is not real growth.
real growth means, growth of industry, growth of agriculture and growth of exports and we grew at nither of them.

i dont say bb or zerdari or ns were good for us but mush is the worst.
post 9/11 we needed a leader who could take a stance and face the pressure with wisdom.
but mush just bent down and took orders whatever they said.

kashmir issue has nothing to do with 9/11 then why take u turn there

man where do u get ur info from
this govt callin em selves the best in every thing like apney moon mian mithoo and u believing em
they made pakistan no1 dangerous place in the world
they made pakistan one of the top 10 courrupt countries

and i m not makin up these things, these are facts
