Actually, he was. Keeping aside the excruciating few mistakes the guy made, he was undoubtedly a lot better than most of the leaders we’ve had over a number of years. The Bhuttos or the sharifs don’t come anywhere close to what Musharaf has achieved for Pakistan.
Now if the question was, who would I vote for in the upcoming elections. I’d personally opt for IK to see where he lands us, if he doesn’t fulfill the endless promises he’s made. I’d have no issues choosing Musharaf for a 2nd term.
This is however just my opinion.
