I doubt it - he's there to make an alliance with them - open up trade, etc. Their people would pose in front of landmarks in Pakistan for publicity as well.

if he didnt blow it up he still could have not gone to that piece of shirk and posed in front of it. we as muslims HATE any shirk being done and no matter who the person is being taken as shareek. it can be the statue of prophet muhammad :saw: that people are bowing in front of, we would hate it regardless.
