Sources maintained that Azeem’s brother, Shujaat Azeem, who was a pilot for former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri (assassinated in 2005), performed a role in the deal between the Sharifs, Pervez Musharraf and Arab leaders given his close association with Hariri. They said that Shujaat Azeem was also close associate of Saad Hariri, son of Rafik Hariri and the current Prime Minister of Lebanon.

It is pertinent to mention that late Rafik Hariri was Saudi King Abdullah’s brother in law. Saudi Arabia had agreed to provide sanctuary to the Sharif family under the 10 year deal with Musharraf.

The sources further added that Shujaat Azeem was closely related to Mansoor Ijaz, the chief character in the Memogate scandal. They said that during the peak of Memogate scandal in Supreme Court, Tariq Azeem regularly visited Raiwind where he managed the calls between Ijaz and Nawaz Sharif. They said among other things which forced Sharif to move Supreme Court over Memogate, Ijaz and Azeem both played their due roles in convincing Sharif to file a petition.

Sources said that Azeem’s services for PML-N wer commendable as he formed his separate group comprising 5 Senators in the Senate and supported PML-N.

^^ exactly , is trah ki chankne bazio k lye mere pas time ni hota ..... agar Pak economy 6% se grow krti h aur FDI $ 3 bn ko touch krta h then for me its ok to induct whole family of Mushaidullah into PIA .....

*My brothers are being victimized by the media because of their promotions in PIA recently. Both of them have been working in PIA for over 35 and 25 years respectively. Both are highly educated and have got numerous Masters degrees.
Their promotion was due since 2006, the orders of promotion were issued in 2007 but never implemented. Their juniors have been made seniors in subsequent years.
They were victimized in the past because of their association with me. Now when they have been given there due promotion, a media trial has begun.
I condemn the media trial. Also condemn the ‘Lefafa’ journalist who are reporting it without completing due investigation.

Ye khilafat-e-rashida nahi balke khilafat-e-Sharifana hey. Mushahid ke bhai ko lago ya bhai ke yaaroN ko, geind, balla aap ka hey, opening bhi aap karo aur attack over bhi...maoj lagi hui hey aap ki...mulk ka kya hey, pitti paao te rotti, shoti kha ke jao...

Even if his brothers were victimized in the past, there is a set procedure for promoting individuals not rollercosting which seems to be the case here.

Maybe Raja Pervaiz Ashraf’s son in law was also victimized by Musharraf.

Coincidentally, this brand of insaaf is reserved for PML-N only. Anyone else suffering from similar victimization is told to take a hike.
Just like the privatization of Ittefaq foundries, how the Sharifs were literally handed over the company without any bidding process, and for practically nothing. Sharif’s defense was that they were victimized by Bhutto, and hence, this was their due right, which was owed to them for the past decade. No mention of the hundreds of other companies that were privatized, and whether their owners were also granted the same rights as them.
Just like dismissal of ephedrine case against Hanif Abbasi, on the heels of a victimization complaint, while Gillani and family and Shahabuddin are sent court summons.

no other person was victimized in PIA during Mush and subsequent PPP Govt? and was this the time of the year when all promotions happen? who are other employees promoted (if any) with brothers of Mushahidullah? is this same old promotion order implemented or a new one? if its old, why no benefits from 2007?

if his brothers were victimized they should have followed the regular procedure of promotion (i’m assuming here that they didn’t, otherwise there was no reason to of this criticism)
