Murtaza Bhutto speaking in the early 90s

I never knew this man was such a good orator

Re: Murtaza Bhutto speaking in the early 90s

Interesting video. While the Bhuttos say all the right things, but their actions when in power, are the opposite. Murtaza talks of clean hands, while his own hands aren't clean... he's responsible for PIA hijacking and murder of a passenger, as well as murders of others in his own group Al Zulfikar. Nusrat Bhutto talks of the clean party during her husband's time, but it wasn't so clean either.

All Bhuttos are good orators, and their charisma is off-the-charts. What is lacking is the sincerity of purpose when given the power, and the tendency to hold on to power by any means.

It's good to see a young Fatima Bhutto. This video must've been shortly before Murtaza was killed in 1996, because Fatima's account of the events mention the 14-year old Fatima holding on to her kid brother (both seen here).

It's also interesting to see a lucid Nusrat Bhutto because I was under the impression that she's been suffering from Alzheimer's for a long time.
