Re: Murreee

Why not visit Kaghan valley instead of Murree? Murree will be super over crowded just after eid.

Re: Murreee

right. but most member of my family wanna go there.
help anyone and answer my question. i just to be aware abut places so i can visit most of them. and also tell me gud places for food.

Re: Murreee

well mausam is really great but there is nothing much to visit you can go to pathryata for chair lifts and cable cars, the famous mall road golf club. we always stay in army mess there :) honestly I cant stay there for more than 1 day. :p

Re: Murreee

The places to visit are:

Murree Mall Road (For food, shopping and accommodation).
Patriata (Chair Lift & Cable Car Ride)
Nathia Gali (There is a zoo and good forest scenery. There are some good guest houses here.)
Ayubia National Park (The pipeline trek if you are into a bit of trekking in forest. Chair Lift and encounter with Monkeys)
Bhurban (Pearl Continental Hotel, if you want luxury)
Kohala Bridge over River Jhelum (Wrongly recognized as River Neelum)

Re: Murreee

Don't forget to visit the lower mall too! I like it best!

The weather is really pleasant in the day and cold at night there nowadays! Make sure wherever you stay (the hotel/rest house), you question the water situation. Water issue is very severe in Murree and hotels usually don't tell their customers that they won't have enough water in the taps for them to wash their faces the next morning.

Re: Murreee

me too me too going to Murree on 2nd day of Eid :shoaby:

surely…mall road, mall, nathiagali, pindi point (chairlift/picnic-point), upper topa, murree road, kashmir point and patriata(chair lifts/picnic point)…

Note: do not stay at the hotels on kashmir road or else you have to travel a long way to these places… the best place to stay is near mall road, where you will be facilitated much more…

Re: Murreee

han really yeah kab se hua pani ka issue seriously mujhe nhi pata tha

Re: Murreee

Murree Sucks Sorry but this is FACT

Better go to any of the Galiat or Kaghan!

Re: Murreee

Nothing to see in Murree...

Re: Murreee

I agree I visited Murree all the way from America is it just progressively going higher and higher in the mountains with the only things to see being the shacks on the side of the road.

Great tip about water too...remember having trouble with my long Kurtha and a pihari man getting angry at me for wasting water (since they bring it from wells)

Re: Murreee

I don't think it sucks or there's nothing to see. For people who have never been there or those who can't afford to go any further to northern areas, one visit is must!

The weather is beautiful and the mall road is full of life. The food is pretty good too.
