Records are made to be broken.
If he stays fit and continues bowling, he can beat all records. With a couple of good years and plenty of games, he will come mighty close to Akram.

The question was how long will it take for him to get to 502 wickets. Do you seriously think he can take 80 odd wickets in 4 matches? For some reason, I really doubt it! :D

Except for the khaufnaak shakal he makes just before delivering the ball, I have great respect for Murali. More so, because the dude is boo'ed all the time when he plays in Australia. I think he is a fantastic performer and a great spinner of the ball. All the best to him.
No discussion on Murali will be complete without mentioning Warne, ofcourse! :D
And while I rank Australian team at the bottom of the table of countries I'd ever support to win, I am extremely fond of the bowling of Shane Warne. I think he is the best and the most aggressive leg-spinner I have ever have the opportunity to observe. His off-field antics notwithstanding.

Indians are way too obsessed about chucking. Its not healthy. Not to mention that an Indian bowler is also accused of chucking. But more to the point, just an accusation of chucking is meaningless. Unless the questionable action is disapproved by ICC and umpires, keep harping about it is just boring.

hum...Say whatever you wana say.. But I dont like sight of people bending arms when bowling the ball. It is unfair to honest player like Warne. It is shame that Murali's and Warne's name are taken in same sentence these days.

If you think you are a better umpire than the guys who are officiating the international games, then feel free to apply to ICC for an umpiring slot. I am sure they will gladly interview your credentials for the position.

the obvious flaw with this argument is that all of us fans have equal access to video clips and eyeballs. it really doesn’t take fancy ICC “testing” when, with my own two eyes, i can see very visible chucking. It’s a simple observation to make, and eyes coupled with slow-motion replays are more than enough. I’m not talking about this whole “99% of bowlers are chuckers” type of chucking, but traditional bent arm chucking.
nobody needs an ICC ruling to validate what their own eyes can tell. supporters of chuckers hide behind a legal defense, but i can’t imagine you actually buy this argument yourself.
and yes, harbhajan is a chucker and i wouldn’t raise a hue and cry about him being summoned by the ICC and accused by media persons.
