Muqaddas - Insaan ya Saheefe?

Visited my Tai for condolence of her elder sister… She said: ‘She was more religious than any of us sisters. She used to wake-up at tahajjud time and after Fajr used to recite Quran and darood books daily. When someone asked for dua darood book during funeral, we saw aapa’s book for darood.. it was so old and obvious that someone had read it for decades. Her daughter kept that with her for memory of her mother’.

My tayaa was there too. I told I’d seen a Quran with amma wadi (our late daadi) and pages from that copy of Quran were not in good condition, but Dadi kept on reciting from that copy till her death.

Tai further told that her sister breathed her last at the time of tahajjud, when she used to wake up every day. Her daughter was sleeping with her and they talked till 1-2 am about the marriage of her younger son for whom she did shopping from Hyderabad just 2 days before her death. She was heart patient but was active and on medicine. That night she was having some breathing problem, took medicine and asked daughter to sleep. Near tahajjud time, her daughter wake-up to find that her mother was not taking breath. She called her Maamoo (a Doctor), who informed that she just died 10-15 minutes before.

I’ve seen people struggling to breath their last.. but this one incident of easy and sudden death connected with attachment with religion does say something which is beyond physical laws and worldly things.

So how do you see attachment of people with holy scripts? have you heard about such stories when people kept on reciting from same copy for decades?

What do you think is it holy scripts that makes people look good or its devoted people who makes scriptures sacred?

Inna lil la hi wa inna elihi rajieon…

Your Tai Amman was doing eulogy…

She was khush qismat.. warna mout ka farishtay nay to Nabi (saw) ki jab roh qabz ki thi ya (jab parda main lai jarahay thay) to unhony duwa mangi thi kay ummat kay log aram say iss dunya say tashreef lai kar jain… :hmmm:

Re: Muqaddas - Insaan ya Saheefe?

I know people keep saying to relieve from the sudden death of someone loved one, but then some people are more relieved on their death bed because they are content inside about their actions.

What about the question in last para?

Re: Muqaddas - Insaan ya Saheefe?

Question nahi hai.. confustion hai kay kesy duwa mangi..? matlab bad main ya pehly… itna time tha…

Reading holy scripts with devotion do impact on soul (rooh)...

Holy script can not make people good... nor devoted people can make it sacred....
