Re: Munnay kay Abba!
Whats really funny is that my husband calls his sisters (they're teenagers) munna, pappu, etc. after their names...even though these are all boy nicknames.... weird :p

Re: Munnay kay Abba!
words that I’ve heard used for adults in my extended family …
munney
chote mian
dulhan - my mum is still called that!
bitiya … this one really isn’t objectionable
nanhi/nanhe
chutki
gudiya
babloo
pupooo … now this one cracks me up every single time ![]()
I just find them all cute/sweet … like awww … naught more then terms of endearment really …
Re: Munnay kay Abba!
my dad calls my bhabhi "Rani"..a few of my little cousins call this same bhabhi "Dulhan"
its cute.
I guess the nick stays forever…
but what about the time when munna has his own little munna??hmmm maybe munna Sr. & munna Jr.??
To add more:
Puppie (girl)
Guddie
Bublie ( the one who keeps popping bubble gum and wears a hair band! :D)
Chunnoo
Munnoo
Guddoo/Gudday - I know someone who has grown up children who is still being called as Guddoo Maamoon! ![]()
Laadli or Laado
Aapi
Bobbie!
etc.
And then some names get altered:
Shabban (Shahab)
Shaddan (Shahid),
Shabboo (Shabana),
Affo (Aafreen)
Farro (Farah, Farhiya or Farzana)
etc.
I think some women should be called “chulbuli” , " Munchali" , “Gulguli” or “Chanchal” ![]()
omg its hillarious ![]()
i hate ittt munne kay abba eww.. no wayyy
Re: Munnay kay Abba!
And then we wonder why guys in our culture are such mommy's boys.
That’s the problem I have with some names…that have a “young” feel to them.
For example…Britney. I hate the name in general…but it has an overall youthful feel to it. Picture that name on an elderly woman…and it just sounds wrong.

Yes, and why some women look for sugar daddy!
