Story line is an extension of the Original movie with almost the same cast members.

First Munna Bhai was super funny. I loved it. I have heard news that Hollywood is remaking it under the banner of 'GANGSTER MD.' starring Chris Rocks.

Munna Bhai is due to release on Diwali Day I believe along with the DON-remade and Dhoom 2.

What a classic dialogue. The movie is full of classic dialouges like this. A very very original production from Bollywood. Should be proud of it.

The issue here is that with the first original movie the standard has been set. It is a really tough job to MEET or BEAT that level of excellence.

So lets wait and see how they carry this thing.

I agree! I was skeptical about watching this one as I don't find bolly comedies funny. But this one was enjoyable and I laughed in quite a few places.

Rukh, besides comedy, classy and unique dialogue, the way director framed some very touchy social issues in one movie was excellent. You will laugh your lungs out in one scene and will have tears in next. It was a non-stop socio-comedy drama in my eyes. I have many doctors in my family and they loved it and it definetely touched millions of hearts.

Am i missing something because i couldn't watch more than 15 minutes of the first film. It just wasn't funny.
