Re: Munh Wal Kaabe Shareef
In punjabi. Do we have to share how we do entire niyat?
"Niyat kiti main iss namaz di, 4 rakaat namaaz Farz, parhni khaas waastay ALLAH Talah de, waqt namaaz Zohr, moonh taraf Kaabe Shareef, Allahu Akbar!"
Re: Munh Wal Kaabe Shareef
I do it in Sindhi.
'Niyyat kai moon chaar rak'atoon farz, namaz zohar, puthiyaan hinn pesh imam je, paRhan Allah Kaaran, munh taraf ka'btullah Shareef' Allah Akbar
Re: Munh Wal Kaabe Shareef
In Urdu...
"Niyat karti hoon ( insert fajr, zuhr, asr etc) namaz ki....4 rakaat farz (or however many rakaat) , Allah ke waastay, Muhn meray Kaabay Shareef ke saamnay, Allahu Akbar"

Exactly same here and add "Peeche Imam k" in the last when in Jamaat.

We know that, but many people do that and molvi sahiban in Eid namaz themselves do it loudly. So, how do yo do niyyat? In Poorbi style?

So basically it is the same thing; weather you say it in your heart or say speak it with your tongue. Agar aap zorse kuch nahi kehte ho tau dil mein tau keh/soch rahe hote ho na. And that happens in a language aswell.
Re: Munh Wal Kaabe Shareef
Nice to hear from other people how they say it, in different languages :k:
Auzubillah then bismillah. 4 rakaat namaz sunnat, sunnat rusool-ul-lah SAW ki, bandagi Allah tallah ki, waqt namaz-e-zuhr, moonh taraf khana kaaba shareef, Allahu Akbar.

i'm afraid not. saying it takes time while having a clear intention and not saying it doesn't take anytime.
it's just like saying the niyat for roza at saHrii time. saying it quietly or saying it out loud or having a clear intention in your heart [without using words] are all acceptable.
i'm not against saying it. i do both. sometimes i say it when i'm doing my namaaz with jamaa'at.
what i am trying to say is that people should know that it's not required so if someone forgets to say it must not consider his namaaz void and repeat it. that's all! :)

Not sure. Probably learned it at the place where my sis and i used to learn saparah reading at. It was some buzurg haafiz-e-Quran in town. Very well respected, Allah unhe jannat main jagah den. People used to call him chacha ji and so we did too. His wife and one bahu used to pray with the girls. And on ibaadat ki raaten, all women in our house would pay together. I don't remember any one on one's with ammi or daadi ammi unless that happened when I was very small.

I asked it as normally its in mother tongue because its your elders (one of family members) who teaches you niyyat, etc.

Khalil Bhai some scholars say that for the Recording Angles to hear your neeat and Salat it should be recited in a low audible whisper, plus when we recite in this fashon the brain will not wonder on to other things like it does if you only stay in the "thinking mode" while trying to thimk:) the words! and not recite.

if it suits a person then sure one should go ahead with that...no problem!
those who forget to say niyat must not repeat their namaaz thinking that it was void. that's all. :)
Re: Munh Wal Kaabe Shareef
You have to say it in your mind in some circumstances, like when you are offering qaza for more than one time. At least, you have to think about the time, rakaats, Farz/sunnat, etc
