Mums with an iPhone

So you just had a baby! Congrats! You have a iPhone! Good on ya! Are you going to get this baby crying app then for your iPhone?

Apparently it can distinguish between 5 different types of baby cries and tell you whether your baby is either in a state of hunger, fatigue, annoyance, stress or boredom.

Do you think it is feasable?

So time has come that we need "apps" for that as well. Its an insult to parenthood.

Re: Mums with an iPhone

Parenting books and advise from others are also an insult to parent-robin-hood

Re: Mums with an iPhone

i think a first time parent takes forever to know why their kid is crying, (if they have already done the usual changing nappy and feeding).. by the time they DO.. the kid is already capable of signaling to help the parent.. atleast that was my case

it sounds like fun… ofcourse parental intuition is the best but hey.. why not?

p.s) dont realy see how its a slap in the face of parenthood

Re: Mums with an iPhone

I'm kinda curious :D

Re: Mums with an iPhone

Dont know if u guys remember there was that iphone app that if u shake the fone, the baby stops crying. Oooo that was bad :nahi:

Not really. There is a big difference between reading books, taking classes or advices from other parents. The advice part has been going on for centuries. That means parents are putting an effort to learn how to deal with their children. How to better take care of them.

Here don't use your brains & just let the app. work for you. I find it a bit offensive & another way of making money. Doesn't parenting have something to do with using your instincts as well.

Khawateen I already explained why I find it a bit weird. I love that billi of yours. Its reminds me of Fat cat in Chip N Dale.
