Salaam Time seems to be going so slow for me… Im alhumdulillah 21 weeks now dont know genddr of baby but instincts r im having a boy! I am almost 32 weeks and I started shopping for lil things at 5 weeks but gender specific only hen we found out at 20 weeks..are you planning to find out the gender or not? I had this very strong instinct that itbwas a girl but it turned out to be boy. I will never go by instincts again.
I am feeling tired,exhausted and just ready for my due date to be here sooner than later. I have restless leg syndrome that keeps me up all night long. A big tummy that's affecting my balance and putting strain on my back, overall not so great but alhamdulillah. I can do it.
have you started buying crib etc? We have almost finishedbthe nursery..just getting the last minute stuff done slowly and steadily.
Y'day I started removing tags from newborn clothes to wash them and I had this very strange feelingbthat I shouldn't and what ifs but then I decided nit to think too much about it..Allah taala is the best of protectors for my baby so why worry. :)

Aww gtg u havent got long to go at all! No in our hospital they dont tell u gender so only way we would know is to go private but as its our first we have decided to keep it a suprise! I havent shopped for anything yet at all! We wont have a seperate nursery for baby as im still living at my parents so baby will be in our room till we get our own place inshallah! My sister has finished with kids and her cot is as good as new as her babies hardly slept in it so she said i could have it and just get my own linen and matress for it i think i will take her up on the offer as inshallah after 2 months of childbirth iwll be headin to pakistan for my sisters weddin and spend few months there with in laws so dont want to fork out for a new cot here as i dont know how the baby will be by the time we get back! I will be grttin a moses basket n stand as my sister said it was suitable for her

I am 13 weeks with my 2nd child. It is very common to have all these negative thoughts during pregnancy when i was pregnant with my first child i was so scared that the baby is going to have six fingers instead of five. It was so irrational that i even used to keep asking technicians during the scans how many fingers do u see
Now this time i am just hoping that i give birth to a strong and healthy baby as i just had a miscarriage 3 months back. Now i have a fear that baby is not going to be healthy as i have lost alot of weight and all.
I want to have a girl so bad....i keep staring at those girlie clothes and pink sparkling booties and those cute flowery head bands.

i am 19 weeks havent had my scan yet will have around 21 weeks. so nervous about it. i feel the movements sometimes. i just hope everything goes well until the end and may Allah bless you all with healthy babies :) i am same like you mizz khan, just too worried about every single thing, everyone says i should enjoy my pregnancy but honestly i cant...still working full time but time is going by really really slow.

aww thanks mizz khan i also pray alot inshallah my scan will be fine. and its nice to see that someone understands my worries. thank god my husband is really supportive but you know you feel better if you share with someone who is going through the same. i dont live with my inlaws and mum in law is so busy in her own life. anyway i know life will be full of fun when the baby is here...wish you all mumies to be safe and healthy pregnancy, pls keep me in your prayers...:)

Mizzkhan.. I purchased a bassinet for our room since I intend to keep my baby in our bedroom for first three months before moving him into his crib in his room..you can look into that as well!
The one that we got is this one:
it has good reviews, we havent assembled it yet because we still need to move couple of things in our bedroom before putting this in!
for cribs.. make sure you check that it’s one of those that were recalled because the drop side cribs were recalled recently in the US for safety reasons!

Sabeiha hun i know what u mean my sis and mum always tellin me nt to worry etc but its nce to discuss any issues u have with fellow pregnant mums for example at work 2 of my friends are also pregs even though they are about2/3 months ahead of me its still nice to be able to jus talk to them and discuss any related issued but sadly they r leVing me to go on mat leave soon i will dearly miss them! Even this forum is good! Do let us knoe how ur scan goes! Have u shopped for anythng yt??Congrats shanayle how is it going for u??
