Courts will take place AFTER a crime has been committed, not sure what punishment is doled out by courts for “harassing” girls but any chhittar doled out by people around will serve as long term deterrent of such crimes.

Very civilised. Mobs have a tendency to get carried away or punish the wrong person. Like in the UK a mob got confused between paedophile and paediatricians and ended upsetting the doctor’s house on fire.
