Mumbai’s first Monorail Service started on February 2, 2014. The Chembur-Wadala Line [Phase-1] expanse is 17 km and the distance is covered in 19 minutes.
a grand step forward. when all lines are open in different phases, it will take away a lot of congestion on city streets.
it’s a world-class system.

That is good work by Govt to start monorail in Mumbai city.

yeah, it's a relief for general public. the roads are too crowded and not much free space left to build additional roads or widen the existing ones. it's a great idea to the the system above or under the ground. above the ground is a cheaper option.
