Supervise and support the Technical Sales Representatives within his/her identified territory. Work with the management team to establish and implement sales strategies throughout the territory. Responsibilities:
Direct, coordinate, and review activities of Technical Sales Representatives and Inside Sales Manager
Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
Train TSRs on sales strategies, company policy and procedures.
Produce monthly sales reports based on TSR reports and market information
Recommends and sells valves and controls utilizing knowledge of valve and actuation applications.
Computes installation or production costs, estimates savings, and participates in preparation and submission of bid specifications to customer for review and approval.
Attends sales and trade meetings and reads related publications to obtain current market condition information, business trends, and industry developments.
Inspects establishment premises to verify installation feasibility, and obtains specifications and drawings to submit to engineering department for bid.
Demonstrates and explains use of installed equipment and production processes.
Arranges for installation and test-operation of machinery and recommends solutions to product-related problems.
Contacts current and potential customers, visits establishments to evaluate needs, and promotes sale of products and services
Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
Participate in preparation of Quotes per specifications.
Ideal Candidate:
Requires a Bachelors Degree in Business or a Technical discipline,
5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area and
2-4 years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge of valves, actuators, and controls strongly preferred
