So what’s good in the market these days for multiple storage DVD players? I saw a Sony one here that looks good with a combo of 400 DVD/CD/MP3 player with a good price. Anything comparable? Anyone used it? How is it?
I want something that I can put all my DVD library in the DVD player at once and won’t have to worry about changing the DVDs by opening the DVD cases and all. 5 Disc changers are quite common but it’s not much. I want something in 100’s and a DVD+CD player with 400 storage actually sounds pretty good. Any other such good deal?
Sounds like a real good deal...I know someone who has a 200 dvd/cd changer but he has huge problems with it..skipping and the dics getting "stuck" and "scratched"...heck even the 5 cd changers have those problems...I just wonder how it's gonna manage 400.
Am trying to decide on gettin my pops either something like this or a dvd recorder...
I also have one of those Sony 300+ CD changer, been using it for about 2 yrs, bought it right before they came out with the DVD/VCD version, I guess that's why i got such a killer deal. I never had any problems with that player either. Other than keeping track of all the cd's in there. Wish there was web server built into it so you could program and configure that thing. It does have a keyboard port though, but really cumbersome to type in song names etc. With a web/network interface it would have been soooo easy to download info from CDDB or something.
TofiBaba, mine one does have keyboard interface so I use the keyboard to type in. One thing you can do is that when you burn your CDs, type in the Album name and the track titles in the software EasyCD etc and the text reader on the CD player displays it automatically.

Yeah, I guess there's that, but the pre-recorded ones don't have any such thing. I have most of my older CD's in there (my last 10 yrs of collecting), and newer songs are mostly on the CDs as MP3, so I can fit about 11-12 hrs of music on a single CD. Saves on a whole LOTTTT of space.
