Whats the difference between the two? i have searched locally for Ubtan but cannot find anything however have come across Multhani Mitti.

I havent ever used ubtan, although a few ppl i know have, however, before my wedding i came across multani mitti and due to all the stress i had an outbreak of spots everywhere. i used multani mitti, mixed with rose water and honey and left to cool in the fridge for about 30 mins and used it as a mask. once hard, id damp it and exfoliate my skin and it seriously made a difference to my skin. my skin was glowing on my wedding day. i used it 3-4 times a week. cos more than that would probably make ur skin too dry and it is a face mask.
im not sure how ubtan works, but a friend of mine used it for a month before her wedding and her skin improved. if ur based in the uk u can get ubtan ready made paste but apparently its not as good as the powder one, which u can get from pakistan.
Thanks love, i have been around asian supermarkets looking for ubtan of any method paste or powder but cannot find anywhere, do you know of any place i can buy?
Also how much time before your wedding did you start using Multhani Mitti?

where in the uk do u live?
i started using it about week and a half before my wedding. i just dont know what the hell happened to me and i was a mess, so went looking for a mask and cos it was a sunday most stores were closed so went to asian supermarket and found um there. cant believe it made such a difference.

Im getting married in Pak during March was going to start using now would that be ok or is it too early?
I live in Bradford.
Btw how do you remove the product once it is dry wash off in circular motions?

once its dry just wet it again and as u said remove in circular motions so that u exfoliate at the same time. i live in manchester and will have a look over the weekend for it and let u know the one to get. theres a couple of other products u can get aswell so i will get the names and let u know.
hang on, i think u can get it from bombay stores. im sure of it. ive been there and they had a load of these types of products over the counter, go and ask there.

I'll go to Bombay stores and try there it's just if they have various brands i won't know which one to go for so if you have any suggestions let me know.

i have a bottle of powdered ubtan someone bought for me from pakistan. the auntie told me i should mix it with milk or if available, malai. has anyone heard of that? i always thought to mix it with water or rosewater or glycerin.

or if ur in southhall, london...they sell ubtan (powder) / Multhani Mitti...typical desi food shops...
Someone bought me some ubtan( powder) from the bradford market ....
i think u can get ubtan from bradford market....

i usually mix ubtan puwder with rose water and exfoliate my skin and then i let it dry then i scrub it off in circular motion and takes off dead skin off. after that u can put multani miti on and wash face it feel real smooth and bright. the ubtan i have also takes hair off too while scrubing it. the whole point of ubtan is taking dead skin off by natural hearbs !

Multani mitti is basically for oily skin so dont use it much if u have dry skin or normal to dry skin.....ubtan however i believe can be used on any skin type given it suits ur skin and ubtan can be used all over the body not just ur face......
How often can you use these product is it just like a mask once or twice a week?
Ubtan is a scrub made out of besan,almond powder, orange peel, rose petals, saffron and a lot of other stuff it can be used everyday..add orange juice, cream, milk to it or even rosewater...apply it all over u're face and wash it off in circular motions when it's dry!
Multani Mitti is fullers-earth in English, u mix it with cucumber juice or rosewater and apply it as a mask!

can you use ubtan and multani mitti 6 months before you get married? or is it better to use it a month before your wedding? and why do girls use it so close to there wedding day rather then using it 6 months before?
6 months wud bring-about a noticeable difference! Some don't get time off from wedding shopping...some are plain lazy!
