Hmmm...Multan is one of the places I haven't seen. I haven't got any family there so I'll have to make some other excuse to pass through. Maybe i'll visit NYA if he's there at the same time.

Multan, this is the city I belong to. I spent my teenage time there. I love this place. I lived in suburbs of Multan in Gultion-Meher Colony, next to Zakariya Town.
Hi! i got married to a Multani guy three yrs back...and after seeing Multan and what it has to offer...i truley fell in love with it...got to say that no wonder i didnt feel like coming back to UK after my marriage....didnt wanna leave this beauty of a city.........(as well as the hubby!) behind! So thank you very much for showing us all these pictures....and we all certainly give you permission to post many more from now on! Dont worry, only being cheeky! ;D

excellent photos with good captions. Multan has been one of the foremost site of archaelogical importance in Pakistan. The greek would refer to a riverine territory called Malloi near what is today multan who were the reason for Alexander's death who engaged them aound August 325 B.C (he was struck by an arrow while trying to cross through down to gedrosia i:e balochistan's south western coast). It is also known to be one of the hottest places on earth and was also the capital of mihirgula or better known as the Attila of the Indus country before his rule was over thrown and they receded. One of the favourite past times of mihirgula would be to role and throw elephants off the cliff.
I’ve heard a lot about this place form a friend of mine..he’s a landowner there…quite rich as he puts it…
