Convert this to a visible poll please. Meaning we can see how people vote.
The poll questions I want to ask is the following:
If PTI loses the Multan seat will they accuse Hashmi of rigging the polls?
Yes
No
So the question is if Hashmi wins Multan what would it mean for the PTI? Now the PTI has contested there was election rigging in the 2013 elections. They have their own candidate against Hashmi as well.
This is a crucial test for the PTI.
Hashmi will win because its his seat. Everybody votes for him because of that and the power the PTI has does not transfer into electoral votes.
Hashmi rigged the elections and that is how he will won. However if he rigs the elections in 2014 it is only natural it was rigged in 2013 so he could win for PTI. Does that mean that seat should be opened up for auditing purposes
Or that PTI beats Hashmi and IK is vindicated and you can welcome your Naya Pakistan.
Turns out PTI is supporting someone. An independent. The have someone in the running against Hashmi. Good to see our PTI supporters can’t even read the news.
So the original question stands. If PTI’s preferred candidate loses will they say the election was rigged?
As per Rauf Klasra, Hassan Nisar and Fawad Ch. it is going to be difficult for JH to win, even when PTI is not contesting directly in by elections itself.
This is based on the reaction of locals on betrayal of JH. People are now tired and questioning his involvement of taking Rs. 20 Million for the party tickets he sold in Southern Punjab. When IK came to know, he said in front of core committee that he was not expecting this from you (JH). From that day on, the old members of the party were alerted and avoided JH for any party organization issues and were reporting to Umar Cheema and SMQ instead.
There is a long list of events inside the party in last 2.5 years and the good thing about it is, the influence used in intra-party elections exposed several people and are being filtered (organically) and newly added (after Oct 2011 jalsa) members have learned from JH's mishap and are more cautious.
All this is discussed in Multan press club with several key journalists from the city. For JH this election is now or never, as his political career is under serious threat due to Mehran Bank and PTI party ticket scandals. The details are now in the masses and people are angry on the angel they have been worshiping for 40 years.

So while in the PTI he indulged in corruption and why wasn't this brought to the notice of the public while he was in the PTI?
Cant you see difference between supporting someone n actual candiadte. Its political if he wins or not it will not effect pti in any way. The result will only effect hashmi.

So if Hashmi loses that means nothing to PTI? That means PTI had no affect at all on politics in Multan?
The question does not hold weight as PTI is not participating in them. The whole government machinery is with Hashmi.
However if the electoral system is fair, do you support the results in 2002?
yes PTI is not fighting directly but they are supporting some guy called dogar...so it is very tricky situation. PTI is playing safe. if dogar loses, who cares, he was not our candidate and if he wins, great
I believe Hashmi will win it in the end. Its his constituency for long and now that PML(N) is also backing him up (all of PML(N) local leaders were present in Hashmi's press conference), he will get some of their votes too. Hashmi's overall votes might decrease though
Pakistani politics is all about electable and he is one of those. In Pakistan its not about stands they take or things they did or things they did not.

His name is Amer Dogar and was present there at the stage in PTI's rally in Multan, as a matter of fact, it has all been stated (unconfirmed reports) that SMQ made this guy to take care of the expenses of this Jalsa, which for the candidate Amer Dogar is blessing because IK himself was going to be there and at last minute it would be considered as big boost for the PTI voters in Multan...
So is it still indirect if he is present at the PTI jalsa and has the backing of SMQ?
fair point. every news paper is saying that it is a contest between PMLN and PTI....so i see your point although both parties are supporting their candidates indirectly..at least technically.
Hashmi will face another problem. If he wins and joins PMLN his politics will be over. he will lose a lot of respect. Even now, given the circumstances he should have avoided PMLN leadership.
