Very beautiful!! Is Ayyubia near Murrey? I would like to visit some of these beautiful mountainous regions of Pakistan when I go with my husband, as neither of us has explored much of the natural beauty of Pakistan before. Do you make day-trips to Ayyubia from Islamabad or do you stay overnight? Is there much to do? I would also love to visit Swat. Any tips and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes midnight, Ayubia is near Murree and so is Bhurban and Nathia gali. It's good to see all these pics as i was there less than a month ago for the first time in my life and although i loved the trip but if you really like mountain region then you gotta go to Naran/Kaghan/Shogran as well. The moutains are much more beautiful with lots of mini waterfalls, lakes, lush green and snowy mountains..
Also you can go to Ayubia from Islamabad but it's better to stay in Murree or Nathia gali so you can enjoy the weather over there, the best thing about staying in Murree is atmosphere at night time on the mall where you can shop till late night and there are heaps of nice resturants.

Yeah Ayyubia is some 25 Kilometers from Muree and these days express way from Rawalpindi to Muree is under construction. Nathia Gali is some 20 odd kilometers from Ayyubia. The other route is from Rawalpindi To Abbotabad to Nathia Gali then Ayyubia then Muree and back to Islamabad/Rawalpini. It is a one day trip you can easily manage as it takes not more than 1.30 Hours from Rawalpindi to Muree:) Swat is not adviseable at present due to ongoing fighting there:( However Naran, Kaghan, Sogran are a good choice but it will take arround 08 to 09 hours to reach Naran from Rawalpindi/Islamabad. You can also move to Sakardu and Gilgit through Korakurum Highway............there are a lot of worh seeing places there that much beautiful than Muree and Nathia Gali rather most beautiful areas lie arround Sakardu:) But it will take arround 14 to 15 hours to reach Gilgit or Sakardu:)
