in provinces where there was complete taliban control (no NA butchers) taliban opened nursing schools. can you even imagine this fact? it was even qouted in guardian...it was only due to the extensive kidnappings that taliban did not allow women to go out with out a male relative in the war zones or areas close to battle lines.
It was a local Imam who helped the victim and helped her to

I never said jirga gave an Islamic decision. I always said that if these people knew even a little bit about Islam, this would have not happened.

u know how much the press repoted on it and the public pressure grew so much that the government had to get the ATC involved...common, when does a criminal case get to ATC? so it was basically justice on demand of public. no one knows how many such cases linger in civil courts for years with out justice. so basically the secular government has failed in even this basic requirement of providing a safe and speedy justice...
