Hi girls!
Do you any of you know what mukesh is? and if I’m thinking of the right kaam, does it “rust” so to say? I feel like I had a dupatta with mukesh kaam on it and it rusted or something weird happened to it.

Mukesh is kaamdaani work and in theory it used to be made of real silver threads, so yes it could go black/tarnish. But, kaarigars can polish the work to brighten it again. And, they don’t generally use real silver anymore, so some synthetics don’t tarnish.

It would look great I am sure! i think it does look prettier on darker colors as the kaam stands out! I am also getting a mukaish dress in royal blue color :D Its a long frock.
