but manaar word is frquently used in indian books.i mean i cant read urdu but mannar is definetly urdu word.i ve seen in many hindi books.and its though is not hindi word

It's not urdu... the only word in urdu is Minaar with zer under Meem.. let me scroll the pages of my urdu dictionary.. may be u are right..

‘al’ is an article used in Arabic stands for english ‘the’
for instance:
Al - Quran = The Quran

u know better than me coz i dont know grammar of urdu.other thing is that it seems more arabic than subcontinental urdu which is quite different from urdu grammatically

ok so i was a bit neadr the meaning accept for the fact its not grammatically correct keeping in mind urdu grammar
