Well Muhammed Akram is out of the Olympics, after finishing really poor in the rowing. Almost one hour behind the German. Oh well back to the Indian Ocean to practice some more, for 2004.

He did damn well, i think.
Compared to the facilities of the other nations like Germany, Czech republic, Estonia, Argentina and Algeria.
The frist 4 are highly developed and provide good sports facilities.
only Algeria doesn't but their sportsmen get the chance to practice in france.
So we did damn well.
So are we out of the rowing or what??
I don't understand - do the top 3 get the gold, silver and bronze or are there more heats??

Well there is 6 Heats, and 6 participants in each heat.
The first place person in each Heat goes on to the Final.

But you can say.. "Hey at least he went and participated in the olympics, that's a big accomplishment altogether. We couldn't even participate in a event."

So the guy did good. At least Pakistan showed off their name. Something is better than nothing.
