This is to show respect, correct? I don’t see the phrase used when talking about other prophets, is this not done for “lesser” prophets?
We add "AH" which means "on him be peace" (I think)
AH = alayhis-salam
"ala" means on
"his" is for "him"
"salam" is peace.
All prophets are respeceted.
Changez_like :k:
I use “peace be upon him” after all Prophets.
But you don’t use :saw: for any prophet other than the Holy prophet (peace be upon him). It is used only for the Holy Prophet :saw:
while we use “aleyhi assalaam” for other prophets, we add “salla Allah aleyhi” for Muhammad :saw: because Quran orders so in Surah 33, Verse 56…
while in other verses in Quran, only “salaam” has been used for prophets…
but it does no harm if u use :saw: for other prophets, will just show more respect, and its better maybe…
Fatehahmed, what nonsense. You are saying that you say one thing for all the prophets and another for Muhammed. If you truly have read the Quran, you would also know that God has ordered us not to distinguish between any of his prophets. And that's exactly what you're doing.
Mr. aahmed:
I believe the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) as the greatest of the prophets and I give him a higher status than all the other prophets.
And Yes I use :saw: only for the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and
:as: for the other prophets.
‘Paak Muhammad Mustafa Nabion ka Sardaar’.
Whereas in Holy Quran where it says not to distinguish between prophets, it means that you can’t reject the teaching of one prophet and accept that of others. You have to accept all of them as they all are from Allah.
The status of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) is higher than the other prophets because of the universality of his message.
And this has already been discussed in detail in one of the other threads.
fateh could you please point me to the thread where it's been discussed that Muhammad was superior to the other prophets? Also can you give me any quranic references that say that Muhammed was superior to other prophets?

.. but he can fetch 100 from Mirza claims that shows he was superior to other messenhgers of Allah..
Mr. Degas,
First of all this thread is not about Ahmadiyyat and Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian. This is about the superiority of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) on all the other prophets in which I believe. Please stick to the topic.
Here is the verse of Quran in this context:
17: 56. And thy Lord knows best those that are in the heavens and the earth. And WE exalted some of the Prophets over others and to David WE gave a Book.
Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa, may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him. You have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent exemplar, for him who hopes to meet with Allah and the Last Day, and who remembers Allah much (33:22).
Now whose status is been exalted to the highest level among the prophets. I believe it’s Huzur :saw: because he is the best of the mankind.
And in second verse, Allah has said that Huzur :saw: is the ‘Excellent’ examplar.
Look at you guys, you claim to follow a prophet who is khatam-un-Nabiyyeen and still believe him to be equal to other prophets? And call us kafirs and blasphemers who are the ones who justify that Huzur :saw: is the best among prophets? shame on you!
