Muhammad Amir, bookie Majeed confess to spot-fixing in court

Re: Muhammad Amir, bookie Majeed confess to spot-fixing in court

we can offer them 2 for 1 (take Butt and Asif and give A.Bahi)

Re: Muhammad Amir, bookie Majeed confess to spot-fixing in court

No reaction, no opinion from other KK people on my post on under what conditions should ICC consider shortening amir's ban?

Re: Muhammad Amir, bookie Majeed confess to spot-fixing in court

Well even if ICC decided to shorten (chances are remote) Aamir's ban as a result of him belatedly but fully cooperating with CPS and ICC, he MUST be made to serve atleast 3 years of his original 5 year ban. Anything less will set a very bad precedent for future players who might be tempted to indulge in betting and match-/spot-fixing and such bakvas. Cricketers must clearly stay away from such people...

Re: Muhammad Amir, bookie Majeed confess to spot-fixing in court

Part of guilty plea should be full allocution that states any other instances where he participated in or knew about match or spot fixing and who were the other players and individuals involved in this and other instances.

Nikema bhai, I don't want ICC to shorten his ban, simple as that, just like justice delayed is justice denied, when you withhold evidence/witnesses then it shouldn't matter if you reveal them 12-13 months later.

Re: Muhammad Amir, bookie Majeed confess to spot-fixing in court

I agree 100%. I believed that Amir did not deserve to put the Pakistani hat on in a cricket field, we need to make an example out of him for next generation of Amir's. If wasim in 1998 was punished and banned, there is NO WAY in hell, we would have seen amir/asif/butt and others repeat these acts.

But when I am suggesting here, is to get most out of amir's confession and learn the ways the fixers get close to the team and how they operate so that knowledge can be used to educate cricketers.
