:( bahir se to bara khubsoorat lag raha tha haha we r still considering it tho against PC and Avari
Re: Venue for Wedding in Lahore
^ see pc and avari charge damn 2 much...i personally luv pc but everytime we discuss future wedding preperations in our family every1 says dont be foolish this time n dont go for pc its 2 damn expensive...but it depends on how much u want to spend...mughal-e-azam is gonna be very less comapred 2 pc and avari...but i m sure u wud want something decent...do check out the interior of mugahl-e-azam and maybe u wl like it...maybe at the wedding i went the seating was just nt done properly...but honestly i dun even like its outerface...newayz..there is 1 new hall...near 2 mugahl-e-azam...in the lane of "staples" n "pizza hut"...get it? i guess that area is barkat market. i hvnt seen the hall from inside but from outside it luks pretty decent.

MUGHL-E-AZAM is in gulburg. my barat was at mughl-e-azam as well but my welima was at zarosh(forgot the real spelling). both were great and loacted at gulburg.
gulburg has some great halls, but little expensive.
we wanted our wedding to be at a hotel, but we were told that food isnt good.
but food at mughl-e-azam was excellent and family friends still talk about the food
Re: wedding halls in lahore.
aiklarkithe,
Thanks for the info.
My experience eating at PC was also the worst of all the hotels but thought other hotels could offer some nice meals for wedding receptions.
Do you have any pictures of MUGHL-E-AZAM decor? How many people can it accomodate?
Would these halls be serving food to the guests with those restrictions in place?
check this website for mughl-e-azam:
MUGHAL-E-AZAM Banquet Complex, Lahore - Pakistan.
can accomodate up to 400-1000 guests
Re: wedding halls in lahore.
also check ..::||| Qasar-e-Noor Banquet Hall |||::…](http://www.qasar-e-noor.com)
Re: wedding halls in lahore.
So whats the grand total should one be looking at having a ceremony in either Mughleazam or deewan-e-khas for around 100-150 ppl (including the food cost and booking of hall and decoration)?
yea qasar-e-noor is also a very gud choice but i love mughl-e-azam n deewan-e-khaas.
hey my barat was held at naulakha hall[mughl-e-azam]..
basilbenz ager meri maaney to plzz choos mughl-e-azam u ll definatly luv it ,fod is also very deliciousn service is also very well ,they hd given me QURAN-E-PAK as a gift on my rukhsati.
Re: wedding halls in lahore.
Thanks everyone.
aiklarkithe, from the website, MUGHAL-E-AZAM decor does not look very neat. Maybe it looks finer in real. But another thing is that atmosphere is more or less what you see at every wedding.
I attended a wedding at Lahore quite a while ago (I was pretty young). The venue was open air. There were several fountains around in the seating area which had snow like white bubbles coming out of them which made the atmosphere so dreamy. I dont know how they did that. Maybe it was soap filled water or something. Have no idea what place it was. Similarly, poolside will be different than the usual venues.
If anybody knows about any open air venue with some unique decor?
And yes, it is not going to be for a huge crowd. Most probably less than 100 (60-70) people. Meaning the place should not be so huge that it'd look empty with 60-70 people sitting there.
Re: wedding halls in lahore.
do it poolside somewhere but have them cover the surface of the pool with clear plexiglass so you can actually walk on it and maybe make it your dancefloor, if there's going to be dancing. or have the buffet tables lined up on it, and have them turn the pool lights on. it looks lovely!
or float rose petals and floating candles in the pool if they can't cover it with plexiglass.

this was wat i could find on net. i couldnt find any good pic from my wedding album.
Re: wedding halls in lahore.
from personal experiences, I recommend Sapphire hall. it was excellent. prices were pretty reasonable too. great c/s.
Re: wedding halls in lahore.
somegroovychick, That sounds like an interesting idea. No dances from either side, I believe so preference would be placing the buffet tables. Gonna check about plexiglass though rose petal and candles floating in the pool would be much more romantic. Let's see what we agree on in the end.
aikthelarki, that's okay.
Soniya83, where is 'Sapphire hall'?
Re: wedding halls in lahore.
I really loved the Mughle azam halls it's just so lovely,
specially the Nolakha hall and the Muskaan one :D
I don't know what the costs are, but the food is good a friend of mine is married there a week ago :)
