Mughal Architecture

In this thread lets share some of your your favorite Mughal architecture, which remained dominant over sub-continent architecture for centuries and still have impact on today’s buildings.

Re: Mughal Architecture

Jali and Jharoka were used in Indian architect since centuries. Mughals introduce a variety in their use. Mughal buildings were more spacious and open compared to previous buildings in sub-continent. They always made buildings having different passages for air. This is the reason that you don’t feel suffocated in Mughal buildings.
