Where is this place in Pakistan, called mugermuch (crocodile) ki sarkar? Someone was telling me that people with skin diseases go there and take bathe in the water. Since sulfur is found in that water, so it has healing effect for skin with different diseases. How true is that? and why such a funny name of that place? But I really want to know where that place is? Thanks.
Re: mugermuch (crocodile) ki sarkar
Manghopir Baba in Karachi...
It's a little further down than Orangi town and a very barren yet very serene place...
It was said that the water was actually milk and people started selling it out of greed because of its amazing healing abilities, so the milk now has turned to water...
It is also the site of a very famous festival...The 'Sheedi Mela' of Manghopir...
Chee also posted some pics from it in the image gallery...
Re: mugermuch (crocodile) ki sarkar
Thanks yaar, but I heard there are Garam Chashma (Hot Springs) north-west of Chitral, renowned for its boiling sulphur springs which are famous for healing effect on skin diseases
