Maulana does not make it Halal. The question is not about the Maulana, or interest.
The question is that are there any explicit instructions in Quran which we can use to improve the financial systems (based primarily on greed) that we have? Why not strive to implement those instructions if there are?
Or, we can announce Quranic instructions on economics as obsolete.
