Okay so i wanted to book Mubashir Khan for my nikah, i call them and find out he has moved to England! Is it true? Please somebody tell me its not. Also, they said some girl Beenish would be doing my make up.
Now how bad is that?
What are other good salons to go?
Cistre was my first choice but they are charging 22K for just the party make up ( i want party make up since its just a small scale dinner)
Bina Khan does a good job but way too light and subtle for me. Laiqa Hassan and Huma Tahir at Huma and Zara salon are good options that I can think of.
Please i need suggestions. I am freaking out since i found out about Mubashir!
Beenish i think is his assistant/partner...apparently shes really polite and is great at helping out! Dunno about the makeup but whatever ive heard about her are all good reviews!
If you want party makeup, why dont you go for a subtle look such as Bina Khan or Nina Alam? Bina khan does seem quite subtle to me too, but im sure you can discuss it with her:)
Btw, theres a girl named Sana at Sanctuary Spa who does AMAZING MAKEUP! I got my Nikah makeup from her, shes worked with nabilas and all the big shots- and now wants to branch out and become a professional makeup artist but doesnt have too many clients- shes quite reasonable, listens, is SUPER SWEET and even did a trial makeup for me too (cuz i wasnt comfortable getting makeup done from a spa, having a guest list of about 250 ppl)
So if you want, i can pm you her number and you can always go and meet her:) Her work is subtle too (but more makeup than bina khan etc) and you can always tell her what you want. Base is great, didnt crack or anything- worked for me cuz i talk and smile alot:p
If only i can somehow see Beenish's make up. The problem is that i dont live in Karachi and i'll be coming only a day before the event. I will not have the time to go and check out the places myself. So reviews on Beenish would be helpful.
My dress is plum.. like really dark,dark purple. I feel Bina Khan would only darken the whole look with her bronzers and dark eyes and nude lips. :/
I have actually never heard of Sana or the Sanctuary Spa. I hope i dont ask for too much but can you please show me a picture or two of your make up? Thats the only way for me to know especially since she's not running her own salon? Please, please. Pretty please? :D
What about shaheen saeed? If im not wrong, shes known for doing brides with dark colored joras...
