IT'S SPECTACULAR!!! I honestly like it more than Allenora, Madihas, Shaheen, Ather Shehzad, Aliya Tipu, Bina Khan etc etc etc
If I had gotten married in pak --would have surely gone to him for his bridal services.
The foundation is flawless, eyeshadow is refined and not over the top--with a satiny look. He makes brides appear youthful and all glowy. Saw his bridal and valima work. sometimes a lot of make up artists arent that good for the bridal day because of the red/maroon or deep shades--that is not the case with Mubashir. He uses plums and pinks that work so wonderfully with red, but are not red. He suggested the bride wear a red paranda under her dupatta (a great touch) because she was wearing a Bunto jora in a brilliant red and the paranda would add to being more traditional.
As for the Valima day make up I saw, It was completely different from the wedding day traditional bride. She had a bun and tiny flowers attached to it and half of her hair was set loose and straightened. Very modern smokey look complete with shell pink lips and cheeks..

The two brides I have seen by him have been nothing impressive.. but that was 3 years ago. Maybe it has changed now. His makeup is very much along the lines of Bina Khan, too informal looking.

I can see the comparison with Bina Khan, but I dont think his makeup is as simple as hers. Its a matter of taste I guess....I wanted to look like myself on my wedding day, not a pageant girl so I'm really happy with the results.

^I'm talking about the two brides I saw :) And it wasn't just simple makeup, it was just really dull.. a good MUA brings out the best of your features.. and even though those brides are naturally very pretty, his makeup didn't enhance anything at all (which can be done without making you look like a made up doll).
I'm sure he has improved over the years, I heard he has been doing alot of work for brides, TV and shoots. I haven't seen any recent bride by him so can't say.
Btw, congrats! I remember reading about your bridal from Dr. Haroon, hope the wedding went well!!

I don't think many guppans have hired Mubbashir to do their makeup.

Mubashir is really good if you want a natural looking make up. Most people hire him to do Valima only. He uses earth tones mostly which some pople may not like because it looks like there isnt any makeup done at all. I like him though

His base is quite good, looks flawless on stage and I am sure would come out well in photos, too.
I have booked him for my wedding day. I am pretty confident about his work and I am sure he will do a fabulous job!
As for trials, he doesn't do them to my knowledge but... I believe he does give a consultation on what will look nice on you according to your features, skin tone and outfit.
