I’m going to be married in the winter of 2010 (InshaAllah) and I’ve embarked on my wedding planning journey :)! I’ve been trying to decide what MUA to hire for my baraat day, and so far I’ve narrowed the choices down to - Sabs, Shamain and Mubashir. I’ve seen the portfolios at Shamain and Sabs and so far they both seem average - Sabs does some amazing work and then sometimes she makes serious blunders, and Shamain can’t seem to get out of the pink eyes/pink lips rut. I’ve heard some amazing things about Mubashir on here and through word of mouth, but when I called the salon I was told that they don’t have portfolios or pictures of their makeup, you have a consultation with Mubashir himself and he tells you what look he would like on you. But I don’t feel that’s enough, I want to see some of it for myself on real girls! So I’d REALLY appreciate if girls could share their experiences/ pictures they’ve seen of his work so I could see what he works like! Thanks so much guys!
