Captain, I fail to understand that why its hard to give the credit where it due? our problem is that we love or hate people and not their acts (and I am included in "our") :)

I don't dislike him as person and I really praise and admit his contribution towards the Pakistani cricket.
This is a thread about another mega project that Mush's govt completed successfully and he should be praised for it instead he got thrashed on "other accounts". Open a thread on Immi's cricket contributions and I'll be first to praise him, open a thread for his political contributions, I'll be first to bash him but I'll not bash Immi for his political mistakes in his cricket achievements thread.

Rs 500bn to be spent on 129 road projects
ISLAMABAD: Over Rs 500 billion will be spent on 129 mega road projects including motorways, expressways and highways under the National Trade Corridor Programme (NTCP), sources in the National Highway Authority said on Sunday. They said that work on 63 projects costing over Rs 150 billion was in progress, while another 16 projects of over Rs 60 billion were in the final phase of completion.
Work on Faisalabad-Khanewal section of motorway will start soon, they said, adding that the project would be completed within four years at a cost of about Rs 17 billion. They said there would be 25 minor bridges, two major bridges, 42 flyovers, five service areas and seven interchanges on the section

I don't understand the same thing from Mushy camp that they can't gather enough strength to criticise Musharraf for bad actions and admit his wrongs. I have appreciated his good actions and even supported him in Lal Masjid saga, its just that you didn't notice.

My pleasure. I think it is a pity that some Pakistani's cannot appreciate the good things happening in Pakistan, whether they like the leaders or not. We should all be happy at the great infrastructural developments in Pakistan over the last 8 years under Musharraf, and should also be happy at any achievments under previous leaderships as well. Pakistan's progress comes first.

Islamabad-Peshawar M1 motorway to enhance trade between Pakistan, central Asian countries
ISLAMABAD: The opening of Islamabad Peshawar motor way will encourage the trade between Pakistan, China, Afghanistan and central Asian countries.
This was stated by President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry Nasir Khan on the opening ceremony of M-1 track. The President ICCI highly appreciated the efforts of chairman National Highway Authority Major General Imtiaz Ahmed who completed this project with
utmost efforts with scheduled time. The completion of other such projects will also enhance the business activities among the country.
These views were expressed by the President ICCI Nasir Khan on the occasion of opening ceremony of M-1 motor track. He added that Pakistan is able to complete these projects with its own resources due to its sound foreign exchange position.
President said the motor way would provide faster and alternative route between Islamabad and Peshawar and cater for international traffic from central Asian republics. He said the motor way will not only usher in a new
era of progress and prosperity, but it would have serious impact on the regional and international level.
Further he said that the project will facilitate smooth flow of traffic, reduce traveling time to considerable extend and minimize the chances of accidents. It will also contribute towards the socio-economic up lift of the people of the entire area, lead to greater provincial harmony and will give boost economic trade activities of country’s important industrial cities lying along the motorway.

THE GREATEST BB who actually try to shed this project and cases are still in Turkish courts.
She tried again to change M2 from 6 lane to 4 lane one and when realised that cost will be more for 4 lane instead cause Daewoo will challenge this in court for contract voilation. that made project to built 4 lanes at many segments and then later again changed to 6 lanes. what a mess thankfully she was removed again by own president.
