the real brides on www.facesbyavina.com looks really impressive. I’ve arrange a trial with her in 2 weeks time (fingers crossed all goes well). Avina seems lovely down the phone.
gini bhogal isnt available until november for a trial.

Naveeda did my make up for my wedding. It was fine, but there's probably better people out there now as this was 3 years ago!

Ive had a trial with Naveeda and I didnt look at all like the pictures I showed her...I didnt look bad...it just wasnt what I wanted.
My friend had her makeup done by Ambreen...she looked breathtakingly beautiful. I would recommend her to everyone but she is very expensive.
Ive seen the pix by Lubna Rafiq and they look alright...but I know one of her representatives in Birmingham...and Im meeting her on Saturday to have a look at her portfolio of real brides. She seems pretty good to me.
Also there is a MUA called Uzma in Kensington in London, I went to see her and she was lovely. The pix on her website are good but I think she is much better in real life. She does a lot of funky contemporary looks...but she is so skilled and she's great at following instructions so can create a traditional bridal look, which is what I want. She's quite reasonable as well...only charging me £55 to travel to Birmingham from London wheras others charge over £100 usually. The bridal package itself is £350 and £50 for the trial. That seems to be the standard price range.

Lubna Rafiq is a top make-up artist! all her work is perfect, and I myself want to get trained by her soon after my beauty therapy courses :)

Im getting married 27th March 2010 and recently got let down by my make up arists, UzmaBeauty though I still recommend her like someone else said, she's lovely, really helpful, did my hair/make up before and i loved it but unfortunately our times didnt work out!
Anyway i'm considering a trial With Dil Matharu... anyone heard of him? Is he recommended?
Also Seema Syed has offered me £350 with trial, any comments about her?
Im keener to do with Dil as he lives near me, but dont want to waste money on trials for both of them!

Im getting by makeup and hair by dil matharu he's suppose to be one of the best, does great eyes and use to be a MAC makeup artist. Wnated Gini but she was booked and referred me to dil. Ambreen too expensive. Jawaad - ??? expensive but if i had to pick it would be dil.

ambreen's another one i thought about but her liner always looked smudged for some reason it annoys me dil matharu is in a league of his own

I just found out Seema Syed works with Sana K whose work is just as good - she is also found in the Asiana mag.
