I dntknw y, but i cant seem to see my emoticons as in, wen i type the code it apearz as a code rather then the smiley appearing :S

even the normal :@ all these codez r appearing rather then the emoticon picturee…whyyy?

It happens to me sometimes too Try restarting ur computer

tools --> options --> messages --> make sure show emoticons box is checked.

Check this setting, and make sure it’s set to show emotions:

tools > options > messages and tick the “show emoticons” checkbox

Otherwise, re-install Messenger.

If you’re afraid you might lose your added emoticons, use this tool to backup all your current emoticons, and after the re-install of messenger, use it again to restore the emticons to your messenger. You lose nothing.

chochi restart your convo. ie close msn. compltely. then sign in again.
