I don’t think high-tech saab is in control of the network… SSH tunneling tou door ki baat hai. 
wesey bhi, you don’t need to create ssh tunnel, etc. in order to get into your machine at home (if its windows box). All you need is Remote Desktop but that still requires some knowledge of networking which high-tech seems to be lacking.
VNC is great but not when Remote Desktop is available.
