‘‘A skin lightening composition for lightening the natural skin color of a user, and for treating disorders of hyperpigmentation. The active ingredient is methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM), a naturally occurring sulfur compound which may be safely administered topically or orally and which is highly effective for decreasing the ratio of dark melanin to light melanin, and thereby lightening the skin color of a user. The skin lightening composition additionally comprises a liquid solution or a cosmetic carrier such as a cream, a lotion, or a gel, for ease of topical application. Additionally, the skin lightening composition is provided in liquid or solid form for oral ingestion. Topical preparations of the skin lightening composition contain MSM in an amount equal to approximately 1 to 20 weight percent MSM relative to the weight of the entire composition. Orally ingestible preparations of the skin lightening composition contain approximately 200 mg to 5000 mg MSM per serving.’’
Anyone heard of this ever? i even read reviews of some ppl, who r using this MSM n r being greatly affected… helping in making their complexion a few shades lighter than they actually are. Any doctor here who can confirm this?
Also, the reviews said that it also helps in curing ( if not all, then to some extent) arthiritis. If this is true, there r lots of ppl around me suffering from arthiritis.
i searched it a bit, n it seemed that this MSM is quite safe way to achieve a lighter complexion… nothing bad i read about it.
so anyone here, plz give ur honest views on this MSM.

If you do need a little help what your talking about seems extreme and you don't know the side-effects of these types of procedures.. TRY A BIT OF MILK AND A SQUEEZE OF LEMON ON YOUR SKIN FOR 20 MINUTES AND THEN WASH. BUT DON'T OVERUSE. SHOULD HELP A BIT...
PBM, there's NO cream or treatment out there that can change the color of u're skin. Skin lightening gels are for specific area's only (pigmented) so please don't throw-away money on such "miracle" creams.
Concentrate of enhancing u're complexion by taking care of it and maintaining it rathar than fussing over the color.. dusky is beautiful too..
hi gina, am new 2 all this, ive jus joined..........im not bothered about getting my skin light but would like a natural remedy for my dark circles under and around my eyes and some very slight brown marks on my face..........plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
