I know I was a little harsh but it really bugs me when really good threads are completely destroyed by the same old people. Why not just give them their own forum and be done with it?

Issue is, we try and keep the atmosphere of general like it's always been, not too formal or strict and people should appreciate that. Problem is you get one or two idiots who want to take advantage of that and end up going all over the place maybe to try and prove a point and some dunderheads just end up becoming outright abusive which won't be allowed.
If anybody isn't happy about a particular thread then feel free to either drop me or Nadia a pm, or bring it up here and we'll look into it, assuming we are online.

the points that you have mentioned have been raised many a times before only to be beaten down vigorously by the extremely unbiased mods. I have nothing against the mods, they are wonderful posters, accomplished persons and a pleasure to have here. However, some of them (IMHO) let their judgement get clouded by their friendships.
You should consider yourself lucky that the esteemed mods have actually responded to you on this very touchy feely issue.

Sobi, half of your threads on general end up all over the place so first you'll have to learn to practice what you preach. 'effin' this, 'blahdy that', or 'my arse' might not be seen as suitable mod output by a lot of people either might they?
Anybody who has a complaint about ANY thread feel free to PM or post here and we'll take it from there. Stick to specific threads and no moans about individuals unless you can point to some thread either please.

What’s wrong with me using my words? Are you trying to tell me that the occasional ‘eff off’ or ‘arse’ or ‘bloody’ is half as bad as some of the sexual innuendo used by your crew? You really really really don’t know me very well, do you? When I write, I write from the heart. I don’t stop to think how it might sound to another person or how my lingo might offend – it’s just the way I talk. I don’t have the time (nor the brains) to think up witty little replies and posh words that’ll disguise what I’m trying to say.
I want you to look back and tell me a single instance where I have crossed the line. Have I ever gotten personal? Have I ever been the one to start a bitch fight?
