I doubt if Modi can ever be part of central leadership. He has the skills to be the PM of India but he has to put to bed the (what I think is unfair) perceptions of his handling of the riots. It’s a shame we have to put up with the useless MMS when when we have people like Modi

The perception issue is alive only because Congress is keeping it alive for political gains. Even Gujarat Muslims have moved past 2002, and have voted him back twice after that. I hope the next general elections see the end of the Congress led govt.
