Re: Mr.Karzai wants action by allied forces in Pakistan!!!
He said Pakistan’s intelligence services “should give up hopes to have a puppet government” in Kabul.
“Our call on friendly Pakistan, its intelligence agency and military is to abandon the hope to have a puppet government in Afghanistan.”
“The war on terrorism is not in Afghan villages,” Karzai said. “Therefore, the use of air force in the war against terrorism in the Afghan villages will have no result but causing civilian casualties............................... Mr.Karzai
Just read these lines and he is desperate.
Re: Mr.Karzai wants action by allied forces in Pakistan!!!
anyone in his shoes will prefer to be US/CIA puppet rather than an ISI one. I dont think Pakistan wants its own puppet govt in kabul, all they want there is no RAW puppet/supporters there.
saying that there is no terrorists in Afghan soil but all in Pakistan is just absured, there may be some elements on Pakistani side but most of them are either in Afghanistan or moved to border area from Afghanistan with some local support. it easy to blame others when you cant get your own house right even with all NATO support and forces present in Afghanistan.

There is little local support for Taleban. All support, including finances, training, and logistics, to the militants is being provided by the invisible forces ruling Pakistan since its inception.
Pakistan intelligence helping Taliban:
NATO general KABUL, Aug 11 (AFP): Pakistan's intelligence agency is helping the Taliban to pursue an insurgency in Afghanistan that has seen a 50 percent hike in attacks in some areas this year, the NATO commander here told AFP. The number of foreign fighters, including Europeans, is also increasing while NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) still lacks the soldiers it needs, claimed US General David D. McKiernan in a weekend interview. “There is a level of ISI complicity in the militant areas in Pakistan and organisations such as the Taliban,” the general said. “I can't say to what level of leadership that goes to but there are indications of complicity on the part of ISI... to the extent that they are facilitating militant groups that come out of the tribal areas in Pakistan.” McKiernan, who took command of the 53,000-strong ISAF force in June and led US troops into Iraq in 2003, said the increase in unrest in Afghanistan is in part because Afghan and international troops have pushed into new areas. He alleged insurgents had changed their tactics to operate in smaller groups carrying out more attacks while militant sanctuaries in Pakistan had been allowed to grow. He claimed these include men who are not Pashtuns. “Unfortunately we see a higher number of non-Pashtun, non-Afghanistan fighters this year than this time last year,” McKiernan said

With Musharaf effectively subdued for political reasons, Zardari is letting thiings slide out of control. In fact I'm not even sure if he senses the ratcheting up of calls for attacks into Pakistan by NATO and Indian forces.
Ghilani after making an ass iof himself is out of commission.
All Sharief is focusing on is jailing Musharaf in revenge.

So why doesn’t Mush understand this and leave voluntarily? This all mess is created by him none else.
Re: Mr.Karzai wants action by allied forces in Pakistan!!!
Will western powers heed to Mr.Karzai?

sorry not all..he can be blamed for his mistakes and mess ups but not for the those of nawaz and zardari and the current set up.
they have to be held accountable for their own screw ups.
musharaf leaving voluntarily is not going to turn the clock back a few months and let these clowns redo stuff.
The nation that elected them has to keep these guys accountable, makin musharraf the scapegoat is an easy route. Hold him responsible for where he screwed up, but dont give these ass clowns a free pass for their lack of vision and strategy.
As i have said, ousting musharraf in itself is not goign to change zilch, what is it that they are doing to bring about change?
reminds me of JI/JUI claims that once islami nizaam is nafiz all will be okay, as if shariah being the law on monday will turn teh country into utopia autmoatically on Tuesday. same here it seems, and public will lap it up.
Re: Mr.Karzai wants action by allied forces in Pakistan!!!
The entire mess was created not by governments but by intelligence agencies.
