I was searching through some old posts and came across this post. I can’t tell how happy I am to see someone actually belongs to PAF College - Faisal Base. Actually, I myself was interested in setting up a web page for PAFians (Faisal Base). I just wanted to know if there is a site already made by you. Btw, I was there from 1987 to 1992.
dude.. i was there for grade 8, 9, and 10.
now.. lets see.. that was 1990 - 1992
i don't remember which section i was in, but we had our bio teachers son in our class..if that helps//
funny thing is that my mom also went to that school in the 60s. my nana was base commander there...
another funny thing is that the P.T instructor (the very brown, dude whos daugher was an air hostess) was there since my mom was there..
we made so much fun of him.. then this new guy came and we used to call him tota cuz he used to wear a green track suit all the time..
man.. i loved that place
i just remembered.. i have a few pictures with me.. i think its from a farewell for grade 10.. might be 1991. i'll post them if anyones interested..
yea fradu, I was there from prep till 9th… then escaping federal boards, I moved to St. Pauls (speaking of which, we share the same wall with St. joseph)

then came the tazeen-chichora who spoiled us… we then formed a taRu-group that later achieved a national repute.. APTA was it called (All Pkistan TaRu Assiciation)..
ah I miss those those haseen days (and girls as well)…

the farewell was for grade 10.. i was in grade 9 at that time.. i'll scan the pics when i get the time

whoa i missed this. I never went to PAF school but just the college..on the otherside of the road, i guess later they moved it right next to the school.

nomaan, I do recognise few faces in the first picture. I do remember the guy in the middle wearing brown shirt and the healthy guy in suit. I do recognize the guy on my right in the second picture. I think that must be you.
I think I had few pictures of me doing NCC with my friend and some others at matric farewell but some girls are in there as well and I am unable to get permission of all of them.

Anyhow, I do know Samina Baji, she did her Masters from where I did my Bachelors here in Aberdeen. She also belonged to that road kay paar wala college.

oh, I think I might have come across you but don't remember it.
I was going to say that I knew the guy as the intelligent dude.
I had attempted to start a PAF college alumni association quite some time back, it was a tough task because the institution wanted almuni involvement but did not want to commit any resources to it, did not even give out addresses or agree to mail letters out if we supplied letters stamped and all.
The second big deal was the issue of the name. The problem with using PAf-ians was #1 it sounded retarded #2 just in karachi there were 3 PAf colleges. faisalians was suggested, that was rejected and then we suggested just to use shaheens, and then no response. I have not been to the place in years and have pretty much lost touch with the whole institution..the exact thing we did not want alumni to face.
Kher, if we have a group of people interested in setting up a site. we can just create a PAF alumni site which can cover all PAF schools and colleges. many people moved from one base to another due to their parents postings so they belong to more than one PAF school/college to begin with.
wow !!! i studied there too, class 3 to 5 and then class 9 (92).
