i like that actress konkona sen sharma. very talented. i've watched most of her movies, but i haven't seen this one..

its a story about a hindu girl and a muslim guy, during hindu muslim riots. nice movie.

I loved this movie and it's usually these low budget movies that have the best stories and the best actors.

santanam's adorable in it.

the movie's really nice, ive seen it twice. one of konkona sen's better performances, the other one being omkara. best thing about it is that it has it's characters react - to the situation in particular and their surroundings, companions, etc. in general - in ways that someone in their shoes probably would in reality, not the high end drama and extremities that some films dealing with sensitive issues tend to lean towards.

Mr and Mrs Iyer was really a good film. i just cant get how konkona can change her accent so much !! she looked and sounded a real south indian !!! and rahul bose is also really gr8 !!! the film's director is konkona's mom, aparna sen. she makes real good films !!!! aparna sen is making a new film"the japanese wife" with rahul,konkona,raima sen and a japanese girl.

^ have u seen the bengali film "Titli", it stars both Konkona and her mom Aparna in mother-daughter roles. i couldn't believe how Konkona pulled off the role of a 15 yr old. that was a great movie as well.

This movie has subtitles right? I would love to watch it if it's as good as "mr. and mrs. iyer".

i haven't seen mmi. but Titli was very good, and yes, it has subtitles.
The music is great, the first song Megh Peoner is lovely if u can understand it. And one of the songs is a Rabindra Sangeet sung by Aparna Sen in the movie. so if u are a fan of Tagore's poetry, then it's a real treat.

I just love this movie .Primarily becos of the acting of Konkana sen .Simply brilliant .She underplays emotions so well .A great talent ,no doubt abt that.

you bengali ?? if not , how come you can understand Rabindrasongeet ??? no i have not seen titlt, my mom has. have you seen "Paromitar Ek Din" ? it was like AWESOME !!!! i think in whole of india, aparna's bengali art film is one of the best ones in the nation !!
