Re: MQMs new challenge
Well, what I wrote is fact that Pakistan is going through.
In 1971 Pakistan got divided into two … not by Pakistanis as they were only dissatisfied politically, but by Indian forces who took advantage of the situation and moved in.
IN 2008, many in interior Sindh was demanding breakup of Pakistan, but Zardari wanting to rule whole of Pakistan played positive role in containing the resentment. Baluchistan is already asking for independence. Now, if government would push Karachi to wall, then worse could happen. Don’t think that Pakistan or Pakistani army is in position to fight political war of some political party’s desire of domination, what army did in past, as keeping people under occupation is now thing of past, especially with so many international powers looking at their own interest in all such situations.
I think, best solution for Pakistan is that, government should work not to alienate section of population and respect people where they are living. I think instead of accusing one party or another of rigging, Pakistan should start using fool-proof electronic voting system and fair representations practices, ideally, proportional representation, or constitutional representation where each constituency having approximately same number of voters all over Pakistan.
