They were afraid of TTP because they were challenging them in Karachi and MQM had opposed them only because of fear of snatching away Karachi from them and not because of their terrorists activities,

MQM has ALWAYS been against Taliban and other extremists. It has always supported army operation. They were the only to talk of Talibanization of Karachi while PPP used to deny it.

Your post is the true representation of PPP Sindh’s mindset. They would rather tolerate Talibanization of the city then to do something which, in their narrow-prejudiced mind, might benefit people they hate the most, MQM and Urdu speaking people.
